Anyone who thinks of Eddy Treijtel (Rotterdam, May 28, 1946) thinks of the gull he kicked out of the air on Nov. 15, 1970. Sparta and Feyenoord were playing against each other at 'Het Kasteel' and in the 63rd minute, Treijtel, Feyenoord's goalkeeper, kicked the ball hard into the air. At that moment, a seagull flies by and is hit hard. The gull will not survive. FCK Kluif managed to get its hands on this historic Dutch soccer heritage.
